This year's theme is Ocean Ma.
Ocean Ma is dedicated to water as mother: forgiving and unforgiving, cleansing and dangerous, nourishing and accountable. Water sustains life, carries memory, shapes landscapes, and connects us across generations, geographies, and histories.
At its heart, Ocean Ma is an exploration of the feminine divine; not as gender, but as a force. The force that creates, nurtures, protects, transforms, grieves, remembers, and endures. Across cultures, water has long been revered as a source of life and wisdom, a keeper of stories, a vessel of healing, and a reminder that we belong to something larger than ourselves.
This year's gathering invites us to consider what it means to be held by the tide: to move with cycles of abundance and loss, to honor intuition and interdependence, and to recognize our responsibility to one another and to the natural world.
Our guiding reflection this year is:
What we take disappears.
What we ignore persists.
What we love changes us.

Bessie Award-winning artist Courtney J. Cook guides us through the evening with warmth, wisdom, and joy, weaving together the stories, artists, and shared spirit of Wise Fruit while also taking the stage as a performer.

DJ Glizzy, Glaire a.k.a The Playlist Princess
DJ Glizzy is our resident DJ for Wise Fruit 12.0, bringing in soul, funk, afrobeats, house, drum n bass, hip hop, r&b, global hits and more - to help craft the experience of Ocean Ma washing over us.
Wise Fruit 12.0 Beneficiary
Net proceeds from Wise Fruit 12.0: Ocean Ma will go to the Waterfall Unity Alliance, a women-led Indigenous organization dedicated to protecting land and water, whose annual Women’s Water Walk brings Indigenous stewards and allies together in prayer over a 113-mile journey along the route of the proposed Constitution Pipeline in New York State.

Experience artists meeting in real time as live musicians and dancers create together for the very first time, alongside a special Curator's Pick performance selected for its powerful connection to this year's theme.

Shar Adrias & Destiny Mata bring powerful narratives to life through their lens. They will both capture the evening: the people, the interactions, the dance floor, the live performances, and the spirit of Ocean Ma.
